ThousandEyes experienced a provider outage affecting the IPv4 and IPv6 Cloud Agents in Bogotá, Colombia, between 2018-08-06 20:28 UTC and 2018-08-06 23:35 UTC.

Affected Scope

Test data from the Bogotá IPv4 and IPv6 Cloud Agents was not collected and Alert Rules based on these Agents would not have been triggered during the affected period.

Status

The issue has been resolved.

Root Cause

The hosting provider for the Bogotá IPv4 and IPv6 Cloud Agents experienced both system and network failures, resulting in multiple reboots of the machines hosting the Agents, as well as network connectivity issues. The combination of rebooting Agents and lack of network connectivity resulted in no test data being collected during the affected period.
